Lou Lou foods!

I'm sick of ALWAYS searching for my recipes, I have them EVERYWHERE.
Random 3x5, 30 different make-shift cook books, in emails, picture messages... EVERYWHERE!

And it sucks... from now im putting them HERE If you want to look at them you can, if not thats fine too. It's really just a way for me to get organized.

By the way, if you didn't know my nick name is actually Lou  started when I was born and most my family still calls me that. Its actually evolved to Sydnee Lou Poo... catchy right? Meh. Anyway, funny thing is that thats actually a name that is quite popular for Shaun's family as well. Mindy Lou (Shaun's Mom) and Shayla Lou (Sister).  Don't think i've ever told them that I too share the funny name. Now they know!

remember I said busy...oh just let me tell ya.

First little side note.... I started at the Marcus center officially. Ever seen "daddy daycare"? The scene where the kids are all running around screaming, breaking things, and causing stress. Thats my everyday life while there. Constantly a state of Chaos.  I truly love it!

B. return from utah- must unpack

F. Work more hours at Marcus than originally planned.
G. Still nanning part time.
H. Only get to see Shaun for 2 hours a day now.
I. Stay up till 2 a.m. every morning/night so i can keep up with too many credits
J. Wake up at 6 so i can get to the Marcus center on time
K. Sit for 2 hours in traffic a day
L. Really getting sleep deprived
M. Unpacking the apartment so it's livable
N. Keeping track of everything with the house we are (hopefully) buying.
O. Getting my new Georgias Driver license
P. Making 3 separate trips to the DMV (wrong papers/ lines are too long for my schedule i.e. 2 hr wait)
Q. Getting cars registered. Now on trip number 4... Still not registered.
R. Trying to not be grumpy and spend quality time with the husband.
S. Studying more.. still behind. still tired.
U. take a nap.

OH MAN!

Holy Cow!

Life is so busy for us right now! Grrrr it makes me onry. < is that how you spell that? Bleh I dont care.

We are finally getting moved into our own little apartment which has been really nice. One thing about this place though is that... well, were the minority. So weird but i actually really like it. Kinda fun.  Our apartment looks like Katrina herself sent her crazy winds right into our front room.  We have boxes, peanuts, bubble wrap, and paper coverings all over our floor. It was to the point for awhile where I was scared to walk around at night cause I always seemed to come out of it with some type of bruise or scrape. Why not just turn on the lights? Wonderful idea, other than that none of the rooms have ceiling lights. What the Freak? We still havent had time to go buy lamps so about 8 o'clock our place is pitch black. Ugh.

Another funny thing, we went and bought a super cheap,  low power microwave to hold us over till we get into a house... well, for some reason every time we turn the microwave on it blows the circuit.  Every. single. time.  It's actually really funny and makes me chuckle. Especially since we fixed the little problem by running and extension cord to another outlet. Little bit ghetto but it fixed the issue.

Last week for date night we did a little something special....

We camped in our front room!  We even strung up some christmas lights we had so we could sleep under the stars! We have been talking about how we would love to go camping and roast s'mores but how there isn't really any where that we can do that here. So I had work off one night and had the idea to surprise Shaun with a little makeshift camping site! I bought one of those little sterno things to roast the mallows over and turned on the oven for tin-foil dinners.  It was a blast! Shaun even put on his "camping pants" that are old worn out jeans and his hiking boots just so it really felt like he was camping. Great times.

Oh, we got to talk to Ariell and Jetson sunday. It amazes me of how well they are doing. Ariell just seems like she was made to be a missionary and Jetson seems like he has gained 5 years, he's matured alot! Not that he needed to... haha :)

Holy Crap.

What A Week!

I swear we never ever stop! Sometimes i think "gosh, this weekend I just want to sit home and do nothing" then the weekend rolls around and we decided to do EVERYTHING! Its the best really! Who really wants to stay home and be bored? Honestly that would suck.

This last weekend we decided [last minute] to head out to Utah so Shaun could walk for his graduation.  SO SO glad we did  for alot of different reasons!

1. Seeing Shaun walk was awesome, im so proud of him for graduating! He graduated with honors and has been and awesome example to me of how to keep going! He goes for what he wants and will get it because there is no other option. I love how motivated and smart he is!

2. We got to see family and friends. We stopped to meet up with Cody and Lauren and I must say... WE MISS THEM!  We miss having friends that were up for anything and excited to go and do it!  I really miss all the four-wheeler rides and fires along with every other random thing we did on a whim. It was great!

3. We got to see Logan again. Which actually wasn't all that good for us. We so wanted to stay and just run and hide in the mountains. On the way out we pulled off the road to take a few pictures and say our last goodbye. Logan has been awesome to us and both of us have so many memories! Tears were shed as we drove up sardine. We have no idea if will ever be back there. I guess we will to visit my family who is moving there shortly but  thats no where near the same!

4. Totally lit a fire under my butt to get done with school and graduate! Online is sorta annoying and REALLY REALLY expensive so I decided I would just get it done when I could. Now,  there is no way im sticking around for 2 more semesters.. so thats all im going to do! 2 more and im done!

5. Proved that we really do hate georgia. Ha this was a bad thing... georgia is great but just not where we want to be for the rest of our lives. We do enjoy it now and have a TON OF FUN.  But in a few years we want to move back to where we can see further than 50 ft (trees), 4-wheel, ride horses, and camp easily.

All in all it was a great weekend and great to get away from all the buzz of the city.

Oh, We moved into our own apartment and are currently trying to get everything unpacked and livable. I love having our bed and love sac back!

And, we went under contract with that house! Its a great house so we are crossing our fingers that it goes through, You see, its a short sale which means it could take up to 6 months to get in there if we can at all! So, everyone cross your fingers for the next 3 months ok?

Happy reading folks! We love you!
